Willie Weist and Linda Governale, a husband and wife team, performing under the

name of SOUL’D OUT. Their music includes songs for all generations, from early Rock

and Roll of the 50’s, the R&B Soul of the 60’s and 70’s and though the Disco era of the

70’s into the 80s. We perform the popular songs that every generation knows. Our

feature show called PEACE LOVE AND DISCO is a 2 set performance that takes the

audience on a musical ride from the Rock and Soul classics of the late 60’s and early

70’s for act 1, then switches gears to the disco era that keeps audiences on their feet!

We encourage our fans to dress in their favorite retro outfits from the times they liked

the best! Tie-dyed shirts and bell bottom jeans to flashy open collar shirts and sequins,

the entire dance floor is alive with the best time in the history of music singing and

dancing to the songs we all grew up with.

 

Willie has played the keys since the ripe old age of 7 and started singing as a teenager

in various groups. Willie has toured all over the world with such legends as Little

Anthony, Gloria Gaynor, The Duprees, Jay Siegel and the Tokens and countless others.

Linda’s love of singing started in first grade when she was given the lead in a Christmas

play which was her first solo performance. While she only performed with wedding and

party bands in her early years, her love of music never faded. She spent most of her

life raising children and then turned back to music by managing the legendary Duprees in the 90’s.

Linda and Willie started singing together in a Church Praise Team, then brought their

music to the secular world. They performed in many venues in New Jersey before

moving to Florida in late 2022.
